The Dresden Frauenkirche ( German: Dresdner Frauenkirche, IPA: [ˈfʁaʊənˌkɪʁçə], Church of Our Lady) is a Lutheran church in Dresden, the capital of the German state of Saxony. Destroyed during the Allied firebombing of Dresden towards the end of World War II, the church was reconstructed between 1994 and 2005.

Luther-Denkmal. Das Denkmal für den Reformator Martin Luther, in den Jahren 1516 und 1517 in Dresden zu Besuch gewesen, befindet sich auf dem Dresdner Neumarkt, direkt vor der Frauenkirche. Geschaffen wurde das Denkmal von dem Bildhauer Adolf von Donndorf (1835-1916) und in Bronze gegossen wurde es in der Dresdner Kunst- und Glockengießerei.

There's this picture of the big black marble statue of Martin Luther with the demolished Frauenkirche in the background. It gave me this weird apocalyptic feeling. The church is back on its feet again and everything appears normal again. The statue was erected in 1835 in front of the 18th century Lutheran church.

A Luther Monument ( German: Lutherdenkmal) is a monument dedicated to the reformer Martin Luther. The oldest one from 1821 is in Wittenberg. The largest one, the Luther Monument in Worms, was unveiled in 1868 as a composition of several statues, designed by Ernst Rietschel.
